[Bug 958030] Re: gnomeradio v1.8 use v4l1 driver instead of v4l2
This bug is not an issue of the V4L1 API dropped in recent Linux kernels, fortunately gnomeradio supports V4L2. Gnomeradio just needs best defaults for v4l2 and /dev/radio0. Unfortunately here is no option in the GUI and have used gconf-editor. [Bug 962666] [NEW] behavior request: disable sound unmuting when I touch volume control (down)
Public bug reported: Hello, is there a way how to prevent auto unmuting when I change volume down? I know this is the by tvtime design and it cannot be changed but I want feedback. I have a Toshiba notebook and I enable muting on the internal speakers. The problem is, that the notebook has a sound level knob on the left side, which can easily (and mostly by accident) turn "up or down" and it automatically unmutes the speakers. A recurring example which drives me nuts is something starts SCREAMING through my speakers and there is no means to adjust the volume except through windows main controls so I have to have it blare while I turn it down.
