Public bug reported: Hello, is there a way how to prevent auto unmuting when I change volume down?
I know this is the by tvtime design and it cannot be changed but I want feedback. I have a Toshiba notebook and I enable muting on the internal speakers. The problem is, that the notebook has a sound level knob on the left side, which can easily (and mostly by accident) turn "up or down" and it automatically unmutes the speakers. A recurring example which drives me nuts is something starts SCREAMING through my speakers and there is no means to adjust the volume except through windows main controls so I have to have it blare while I turn it down. Thank you. ** Affects: tvtime (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/962666 Title: behavior request: disable sound unmuting when I touch volume control (down) To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/tvtime/+bug/962666/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
