[Bug 321899] Re: brasero 0.9.1 doesn't burn nothing
It's only a matter of time before the developers post this to even more Brasero bugs .. "We are closing this bug report because it lacks the information we need to investigate the problem, as described in the previous comments. Please reopen it if you can give us the missing information, and don't hesitate to submit bug reports in the future." -- brasero 0.9.1 doesn't burn anything https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/321899 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 355553] Re: network manager doesn't support dial up modems
I installed Ubuntu 9.04 (Jaunty Jackalope) replacing 8.10 (Intrepid Ibex) to find I had the same problem. Network manager would let me set my USB dial-up modem. There wasn't even WvDial installed so I could get a connection to install gnome-ppp! When using a live-CD to get onto the Internet I couldn't find where I could get the .deb files for gnome-ppp & WvDial! So I ditched ubuntu 9.04 for Linux Mint 6, which came with WvDial enabling me to install gnome-ppp. Thanks to AptoCD I've backed up the .debs for gnome-ppp & wvdial, I only hope thats enough when I come to upgrade the next time. It would be nice to see Wvdial & gnome-ppp on the installation CD/DVD rather than have hundreds of games which don't add to the system being useful. -- network manager doesn't support dial up modems https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/33 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

My ubunutu 8.04 was upgrades to 8.10 now Brasero will not burn anything. It won't report media disk space correctly, it reports zero It doesn't detect disk type. So do we have to wait until Jaunty for a fix, no burning until then? [Bug 1312408] [NEW] Extra mouse buttons in compiz do not work
Public bug reported: O.S : Ubuntu 14.04 64 bits Used Mouse : Logitech MX performance Concerned Compiz Version : 1:0.9.11+14.04.20140409-0ubuntu1 I have assigned functions to my mouse button 6 ( left click on wheel ) to use exposed mode. After a recent compiz update ( ver: 20140409 ) , this function is out with this button ( same for button 7 - right click on wheel - ). It work only if the mouse cursor focused on the desktop or on the window title bar. Note : It worked well with compiz version 20140328 and the same O.S I have re-assigned this function with button 13 ( zoom function ) and it work again. Why buttons 6 and 7 no longer works correctly now ? [Bug 1312408] Re: Extra mouse buttons in compiz do not work
I take you aren't adding a modifier to the left and right click of the wheel such as Alt? --> With alt or other keys : same things. It's just straight up button 6 and 7, right? --> Yes. Only this two buttons are concerned. I'd like to ask you what your expectation would be if a window is horizontally scrollable and you push the wheel left or right over that window when you have exposed mapped as well? --> When the widows is exposed, buttons 6 and 7 do not work. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1312408 Title: Extra mouse buttons in compiz do not work To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/compiz/+bug/1312408/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 1349923] [NEW] Freeze pc
Public bug reported: The bug is as follows: The whole system freezes except the mouse. After 5 seconds, the screen turns off as if he put on standby. After 20 to 30 seconds, in most cases, the screen turns back on and it is possible to resume the job. But sometimes, the screen comes back but the rest is still frozen and then the screen turns off again, on again and so on. In this case, a forced reboot is required. However, while the system is frozen, magic keys (reisub) are still functional. I noticed that this bug occurs mainly when I used my pc so active (file transfer, web browsing, video playback, etc). I left my pc on for several days without working on it and according to the system log, the bug has not manifested. [Bug 195605] Re: Sound not configured properly on Sony Vaios using snd_hda_intel
Hello again, As an update to my previous comment (No. # 57), I have now built and installed the Alsa version 1.0.23 drivers and both my headphones and microphone jacks are now working! [Bug 195605] Re: Sound not configured properly on Sony Vaios using snd_hda_intel
Hello, I have a Sony Vaio VPCM11M1E netbook. I am trying Ubuntu Netbook Edition 10.04 LTS using a flash drive prior to installing on the hard disc. But I discovered that the headphones and microphone jacks are not working (but I do get sound from the built in speakers, which gets cut off when I insert my head phones). In order to solve this problem I then used Linux Mint 9, again from a flash drive so that I could run HardInfo in order to find out what chip sets are involved. Any way I also ran the command wget -O alsa-info.sh http://alsa-project.org/alsa-info.sh && bash ./alsa-info.sh See http://www.alsa- project.org/db/?f=039acfef3019910bec036eb562b3b20559705550 for my results. Nb. I set snd-hda-intel model=assamd prior to doing the above as well as trying snd-hda-intel model=vaio AND model=auto. I've not tried Alsa version 1.0.23 as that would seem to require building from source and the instructions I have for doing that seem a little daunting! So any suggestions as to where I go from here? -- Sound not configured properly on Sony Vaios using snd_hda_intel https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/195605 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
