[Bug 344057] Re: cpulimit.c: Received request to terminate due to CPU overload.
Pulseaudio needs a complete core, when I play an .ogg-file in Rythmbox and gets killed 4-10 seconds later: grep CPU /var/log/user.log May 9 13:10:01 itchy pulseaudio[3390]: cpulimit.c: Received request to terminate due to CPU overload. I put a lot of hopefully helpfull output in the attachment file "debugoutput.txt". Here is the order of all commands, which output is in the attachment: $ pulseaudio --version $ cat /etc/pulse/daemon.conf $ lsb_release -d $ uname -a $ lspci | grep -i audio $ lsmod | grep "snd" $ cat /proc/asound/cards $ head -n 3 /proc/asound/card0/codec#0 $ head -n 3 /proc/asound/card0/codec97#0/ac97#0-0 $ head -n 3 /proc/asound/card0/codec97#0/ac97#0-0+regs $ aplay -l $ aplay /usr/share/sounds/question.wav $ asoundconf list $ cat ~/.asoundrc $ ps -C esd $ ps -C arts $ ps -C pulseaudio I just thought, that it is better to post too much, than too less. So I postet all recommended output from this page: http://wiki.ubuntuusers.de/Soundprobleme/Audio-Fehler-Beschreibung .. and a bit more. ** Attachment added: "debugoutput.txt" http://launchpadlibrarian.net/26499825/debugoutput.txt -- cpulimit.c: Received request to terminate due to CPU overload. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/344057 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 92482] Re: NumLock gets enabled unexpectedly on my laptop
I fixed this problem for me! I connected an external keyboard to my Thinkpad and pressed the numlock-key. Afterwards the numlock led turned off. After that, i plugged off the external keyboard again and the led and the numlock keys worked again as usual. The bug that i have discovered at my Thinkpad probably is, that the keyvalue send from an external keyboard maybe a different one from the keyvalue which is produced by the Thinkpad itself (Fn + Num). But as you need this special keyvalue of an external keyboard's numlock-key to turn off the led of your Thinkpad, it is not possible to do this without an external keyboard. I am not sure about this, but it worked for me. [Bug 92482] Re: NumLock gets enabled unexpectedly on my laptop
Hi, I have the same problem and updated to Hardy, but it did not help. Using the gconf-editor and searching for numlock I found "numlock_remember_state" and "numlock_on". "numlock_remember_state" let Ubuntu remember the "numlock_on" state from xsession to xsession. But "numlock_on" just change the baviour of an activated numpad: numlock_on = true: active -> you can type digits inactive -> you can type letters numlock_on = false: active -> you can use numpad as arrows (u = left, o = right, 8 = up, etc.) inactive -> you can type letters The problem that I have is, that I cannot change the state of the LED with my keyboard (shift + numlock) and that the numpad is per default active (either I can typ digits or I can use arrows). [Bug 866076] Re: MonoDevelop.exe crashed with SIGABRT in raise()
Hi again, I hope someone is reading this, otherwise I would write that all just for me!? However, I tried the brand new release of MonoDevelop 2.8. The Bug seems to occure there too, but instead of crashing MonoDevelop throws the Exception several times (3-5) and thats it. So I don't know the reason why it doesn't crash, but maybe it is an option to use MonoDevelop 2.8 instead 2.6 for Oneiric. I personally would appreciate that. [Bug 866076] Re: MonoDevelop.exe crashed with SIGABRT in raise()
Hi, the problem is probably caused by a conflict between MonoDevelop and the monodoc-browser. After deinstalling the monodoc-browser MonoDevelop stops crashing. According to some error I have seen at console, some IPC channel is already used, if monodoc-browser is installed. Monodevelop can't handle this and crashes in Version 2.6 or at least can't use autocompletion in Version 2.8. I am using MonoDevelop 2.8 now, without any other bug, so far.
