[Bug 529298] [NEW] Can't turn off "Fit to Page" for printing with HPLIP 3.9.12

2010-02-27 Thread dh003i
Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: hplip

Using HPLIP 3.9.12 drivers for HP B8550, I want to print photos full-
bleed on the page. Going to the HP Toolbox, I select the printer, then
click on "Print Settings". I then select "Image Printing". I change "Fit
to Page" from "On" to "Off", but the setting doesn't stick. After I
switch tabs and go back, it is back to "On".

I'm using Ubuntu 9.10.

[Bug 517251] [NEW] can't record from mic for onboard AD1989B sound card

2010-02-04 Thread dh003i
Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: gnome-media

I have a headset with a mic plugged in to the rear port of my on-board
sound (ADI AD2000B) on my Asus P5Q-E motherboard. I cannot talk to
people on Skype, or record in the GNOME Sound Recorder program. This is
despite me going into the GNOME ALSA Mixer and unmuting the mic and mic
boost. I can hear myself and my keystrokes when I type from the mic
being amplified into he ear-pieces. So the hardware of the mic is
working.

However, I cannot record sound. The GNOME ALSA Mixer appears to be using
AD1989B drivers.

ProblemType: Bug
Architecture: amd64
DistroRelease: Ubuntu 9.04

2018-09-03 Thread dh003i
Thank you very much for reaching out to me about this bug. Unfortunately, I
no longer have that HP printer as it broke several years ago.
