[Bug 366224] Re: [M7-LW] Rendering artifact on text in firefox and gedit
I've now tried all AGPMode values, and it doesn't help. -- [M7-LW] Rendering artifact on text in firefox and gedit https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/366224 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 366224] Re: [M7-LW] Rendering artifact on text in firefox and gedit
I also have this problem - Lenovo Z61m with Radeon Mobility X1400 using open source drivers. It mainly affects Firefox, also some other software, but NOT e.g. Chromium. -- [M7-LW] Rendering artifact on text in firefox and gedit https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/366224 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 60314] Re: Segfault when using GEN01
Encountered same problem when using another command that attempts to create a .pvx file: csound -U pvanal -n8192 -w8 source.wav analysed.pvx Can also confirm that compiling the latest version as outlined above (thanks slow_joe!) fixed the problem. [Bug 418625] [NEW] Arbitrary text corruption with Radeon X1400
Public bug reported: Binary package hint: xserver-xorg-video-ati Ubuntu 9.04, on a Lenovo Thinkpad Z61m xserver-xorg-video-ati 1:6.12.1-0ubuntu2 Text becomes corrupted after an arbitrary period of usage, usually several hours. See attached screenshots for examples. The corruption can be fixed by forcing the text to be re-rendered (e.g. by changing the zoom level in Firefox). Corruption is always associated with a particular character (e.g. all instances of upper case 'W'). Trying different AGPMode values (https://wiki.ubuntu.com/X/Quirks#ATI%20AGP%20Mode%20Quirk) has no effect. Setting AccelMethod to 'XAA' does seem to fix it, but makes the system so slow as to be unusable (hard to tell whether this really does fix it, since the corruption only sporadically appears). Attached below are example screenshots of the problem in Firefox; and in Eclipse, the Gnome panel and a tooltip. [Bug 418625] Re: Arbitrary text corruption with Radeon X1400
I've been using the alpha/beta of Karmic for the last week, and haven't seen any sign of the text corruption yet. So yes, it looks as though this is fixed. -- Arbitrary text corruption with Radeon X1400 https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/418625 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
