[Bug 420948] [NEW] after todays update boot loops at loding grub 1.5

In desperation, after disabling hard drives, I booted from Ubuntu 7.04 CD. After I found the necessity to shut down ,I reconnected my hard drives and normal boot was happening, I let the normal boot start up and my problem seems solved. I have no idea what has happened, but I am very happy it did. Many thanks to all who may have been or may have helped. I thank you for your reply, although I do not really have a clue what it means, I am presuming the update was changed. In desperation I disconnected my hard drives and booted from Ubuntu 7.04 after a couple of attempts to boot, I was able to boot into safe mode. I sent my request for help from there. After shut down I reconnected my hard drive and a normal boot took place, from there into recovery mode and now all is good, I hope it stays that way.
