I am on 13.04, 32 bit. Skype 4.3.0.37-1_i386.deb does not work for me. Thank you for submitting this bug, I can confirm that this bug exists. To further clarify recreation: 1) Type out anything in LO Writer, just something like "jaskldfjasdl;fja;sdf" 2) Go to Tools > Language > For All Text > More... > Default Languages for documents > Default - Russian 3) Spell Check will ignore your gibberish that you type. I'm marking this bug as confirmed. I also can recreate this issue in all the other languages I have tried such as Dutch, Czech, and more.
