[Bug 390631] [NEW] Unable to install firefox-3.5
Public bug reported: Binary package hint: firefox-3.5 I'm using firefox-3.5 on ubunty 9.04 (installed from the ubuntu-mozilla- daily repository). Today, I wasn't able to apply the update and decided to remove firefox-3.5 entirely and to reinstall it from scratch. Looks like the problem has been fixed, I've been able to install firefox-3.5 today. ** Changed in: firefox-3.5 (Ubuntu) Status: New => Invalid -- Unable to install firefox-3.5 https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/390631 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 107400] Re: no effect after installation
Same bug here with Jaunty. I installed the package using the command line and couldn't get the menu right after. Please find below the output of apt-cache : $ apt-cache policy nautilus-open-terminal nautilus-open-terminal: Installed: 0.9-3ubuntu1 Candidate: 0.9-3ubuntu1 Version table: *** 0.9-3ubuntu1 0 500 http://fr.archive.ubuntu.com jaunty/universe Packages 100 /var/lib/dpkg/status Running 'nautilus -q' did the trick. Anyway, something is wrong here : if an extra action is required after the installation, the user should at least be notified. Better, it should just work right after the install, like any other package (or ask for something in an interactive way). -- no effect after installation https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/107400 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 337849] Re: Tasque unable to use Remember the Milk as Task Management System
I'm facing this bug too with Jaunty Beta on a x86 platform when I try to "authorize" Tasque to access RTM. It looks like a little regression. Would be nice to fix this before the final release. ** Attachment added: "Screenshot-TasqueError.png" http://launchpadlibrarian.net/25569916/Screenshot-TasqueError.png ** Summary changed: - Tasque unable to use Remember the Milk as Task Management System + Tasque Error when using Remember the Milk as Task Management System -- Tasque Error when using Remember the Milk as Task Management System https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/337849 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 567837] Re: Eclipse crashes when hit on a proposal
This issue is maybe not about cairo but, still, Eclipse is crashing (i.e. unusable) with Ubuntu Lucid. So instead of closing this issue, it should maybe be reassigned to the "right" project (as there is something wrong somewhere). -- Eclipse crashes when hit on a proposal https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/567837 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

Note that this might be a duplicate of https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/eclipse/+bug/567419 (which is tagged amd64 but also occurs on my 32-bit machine). -- Eclipse crashes when hit on a proposal https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/567837 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 565394] [NEW] Netbeans 6.8 fails at importing settings from previous version
Public bug reported: Binary package hint: netbeans 1. Ubuntu release Ubuntu lucid 10.04 2. Version of the package: netbeans 6.8-0ubuntu4 3. Expected behavior On first start, if NetBeans detects settings from a previous installed version (e.g. in `~/.netbeans/6.7`), NetBeans opens a pop-up asking to *Confirm Import Settings*. Choosing *Yes* should just import the previous settings. 4. Actual result The import fails because of a "missing file or directory" and the system shows a pop-up with the following message: > java.io.FileNotFoundException: /usr/share/netbeans/6.8/etc/netbeans.import (No such file or directory) Indeed, there is no `/usr/share/netbeans/6.8/etc/netbeans.import` file and NetBeans doesn't import anything. ** Affects: netbeans (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- Netbeans 6.8 fails at importing settings from previous version https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/565394 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 427539] Re: [FFe] Sync libmaven packages from Debian unstable
I was really hoping to get the latest version of maven2 in Karmic as it might be the last release of maven's 2.x branch (pretty stable now) and the last chance to include it. Indeed, maven3 is coming and including maven2 in Karmic+1 will thus be pretty useless. On top of that, this will lead to upgrading hell again (I bet maven 3.x will be released more frequently than every 6 months) so we'll end up with an almost immediate obsolete versions. And because maven2 is **unusable** right now, it should just be removed. Very bad news for Java users on Karmic. Sadly, +1 with comment #37. -- [FFe] Sync libmaven packages from Debian unstable https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/427539 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
