Public bug reported: Binary package hint: netbeans
1. Ubuntu release Ubuntu lucid 10.04 2. Version of the package: netbeans 6.8-0ubuntu4 3. Expected behavior On first start, if NetBeans detects settings from a previous installed version (e.g. in `~/.netbeans/6.7`), NetBeans opens a pop-up asking to *Confirm Import Settings*. Choosing *Yes* should just import the previous settings. 4. Actual result The import fails because of a "missing file or directory" and the system shows a pop-up with the following message: > java.io.FileNotFoundException: /usr/share/netbeans/6.8/etc/netbeans.import (No such file or directory) Indeed, there is no `/usr/share/netbeans/6.8/etc/netbeans.import` file and NetBeans doesn't import anything. ** Affects: netbeans (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- Netbeans 6.8 fails at importing settings from previous version https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/565394 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
