[Bug 188773] Re: please merge imagemagick 7:6.4.3.2.dfsg1-1 from Debian experimental (main)
debian/patches/use-only-one-the.patch isn't necessary for version 6.4.3.2.dfsg1-1 The parallel building is broken on the buildds (but it works on my machine). I need to investigate (see http://bugs.debian.org/496212). About syncing it, probably you will have the same "problem" as us on Debian. Some packages will FTBFS with the new ImageMagick (I have sent patches on Debian BTS) and others will need to change the build-dependencies. Actually it doesn't fail to build, but gives only a warning at the end: = Function `gdk_gc_new' implicitly converted to pointer at drawatoms.c:63 Our automated build log filter detected the problem(s) above that will likely cause your package to segfault on architectures where the size of a pointer is greater than the size of an integer, such as ia64 and amd64. This is often due to a missing function prototype definition. Since use of implicitly converted pointers is always fatal to the application on ia64, they are errors.
