[Bug 700686] Re: unreadable black-on-black text with details plugin
Also, if we've followed this solution: http://idyllictux.wordpress.com/2010/04/26/lucidubuntu-10-04-high- resolution-plymouth-virtual-terminal-for-atinvidia-cards-with- proprietaryrestricted-driver/ to get high-resolution boot splash in 10.04 or 10.10, the "vt.handoff=7" will prevent the splash from showing up. Hence it needs to be removed from /etc/grub.d/10_linux. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/700686 Title: unreadable black-on-black text with details plugin -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 760814] Re: Compiz Very Slow and Choppy in Natty Classic
It doesn't seem to be specific with nVidia, I'm using ATI Radeon HD 3470 and is experiencing the same problem. Laggy, always crashing and mouse+hot corner doensn't work any more. It was all perfect in 0.8.6. I cant understand why Ubuntu includes a testing version of compiz in their 11.04 release.
