[Bug 230436] Re: [needs-packaging] simcoupe
Current package works fine, but has two problems. 1) combines two projects (SimCoupe, SAASound) in package (next SimCoupe release will include SAASound) 2) contains SAM ROM in source codes (SAMROM.h, SAMDOS.h) I have now partialy prepared three package like Fedora's rpm simcoupe, samcoupe-rom and libsaasound. -- [needs-packaging] simcoupe https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/230436 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 110666] Re: [needs packaging] Vidalia
Yesterday i installed Tor, Privoxy and Vidalia on Ubuntu 8.04. But Vidalia cant run its own Tor process, but on vidalia faq page i find how "attach" vidalia to an existing tor process. http://trac.vidalia-project.net/wiki/FAQ#ExistingTor (when this trying, disable tor and vidalia) open torrc (tor setting file) $ sudo gedit /etc/tor/torrc make new first line and insert: ControlPort 9051 save. Now start tor (as root) and than vidalia (not as root). After few seconds vidalia is reporting "Tor is running" and yellow onion is changed to green. This is my first x64 Ubuntu installation. I noticed this problem with earlier kernels but it was not critical to me because it did not cause freeze PC, only slow reactions and lags when working with files on HDD. I installed kernel 3.18 and error messages are same, mostly at computer startup. Computer beeps fast 3 times and then I am not able to use HDD anymore. Every action gives me back IO error. I can only turn off computer hard way by holding power button. Computer is half year old, so I dont think it is HDD faulty. HDD is SSHD, combination of 8GB SSD and 1000GB HDD. ** Tags added: kernel-bug-exists-upstream -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1400850 Title: failed command: READ DMA EXT To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/1400850/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 67086] Re: Nautilus keeps crashing at gettimeofday
Yes, I was using it. Actually the problems started about the time I installed KDE to test it. I did the following to fix it: 1) created new user 2) logged in to gnome with this user 3) gnome crashed 4) remove the gtk-qt theme as described in the other bug (actually removed whole kde by apt-get remove kdelibs) 5) deleted all gnome folders (.gnome, .gconf, ...) - simply all that were created after 2) 6) logged in to gnome again 7) gnome started OK I do not remember exactly if I changed the default theme in KDE, it is quite possible Hope it helps. -- Nautilus keeps crashing at gettimeofday https://launchpad.net/bugs/67086 -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

Public bug reported: Binary package hint: network-manager-vpnc I'm using Kubuntu feisty (development branch) on x86_64 architecture.
