** Description changed:

  I use the Xubuntu alfa 2 64 bit from Live CD.
  The sound doesn't work on my sound card Intel HDA (Realtek ALC 889A reported 
by the system). It seems the card is installed by the system, but there is no 
sound going out. I tried to put everything on maximum in alsamixer, but it 
doesnt help.
