[Bug 240556] Re: install crash
I had E16 installed and then tried to install epplets but that package was dependent upon Enlightenment. I selected the Enlightenment packages and related packages but then it failed -- only for the Enlightenment package. I have installed and uninstalled it before but the problem is when I added the epplets package. What I did to solve it was to uninstall all related packages -- epplets, E16 and related, Enlightenment and related. After that, I went to the terminal and: sudo apt-get autoremove -- that step was necessary because the "broken" package (Enlightenment) couldn't be fixed and I got error messages when trying to reinstall them before using that command. After that, I installed Enlightenment and epplets and it worked fine. It seemed to only have a problem when I had E16 installed. -- install crash https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/240556 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 327695] Re: soundconverter converts, but output contains no data
I had the same problem but have found no solution. Except in my case, some .flv files work and others don't. I can't find any obvious difference between the ones that work and the ones that don't. What's worse, mplayer doesn't convert .flv files anymore either! -- soundconverter converts, but output contains no data https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/327695 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 490837] [NEW] Xfce4-panel notification bubbles in wrong place -- cannot close or interact with them
Public bug reported: Binary package hint: xfce4-panel Whenever a program in Xfce4-panel's system tray has a notification bubble pop up, it's in the wrong place (much further down and to the right of the system tray. The "X" on the bubble seems to be off-screen so the notification bubble cannot be closed manually -- it must close on its own after time. Also, if the mouse attempts to hover over the notification bubble, it disappears. [Bug 472530] Re: KGpg (kgpg), signal: Segmentation fault
Hi, I had kgpg end after a segmentation fault as well. It happened and then when I restarted the program, it said that gnupg was running an agent that was interfering with the function of kgpg. I edited the ~/.gnupg/gpg.conf file and commented out the line that said "use-agent" and then it worked better (and had less exits because of segmentation faults). Because I was still having problems, and the bug report was said to not be useful, I downloaded valgrind and followed the how-to located here: https://wiki.kubuntu.org/Valgrind I put the valgrind.log file in a .tar.gz archive as recommended in the article and I attached it to this post. I'm not knowledgeable enough to be able to judge for myself whether the log file will be useful or not but I hope that it is. ** Attachment added: "KGpg 2.2.1 - valgrind.log file in a .tar.gz archive" http://launchpadlibrarian.net/36559847/KGpg_ver_2.2.1_-_valgrind.log.tar.gz -- KGpg (kgpg), signal: Segmentation fault https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/472530 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Kubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to kdeutils in ubuntu. -- kubuntu-bugs mailing list kubuntu-b...@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/kubuntu-bugs
[Bug 472530] Re: KGpg (kgpg), signal: Segmentation fault
Sorry, I forgot to mention... I am running Xubuntu Karmic Koala 9.10. Kernel 2.6.31-16-generic with an Intel(R) Core(TM)2 Duo CPU T8100 @ 2.10GHz. Unlike the previous user who had issues with a segmentation fault, mine was not on an x64 processor. ~Liz -- KGpg (kgpg), signal: Segmentation fault https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/472530 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
