As far I know that the language-support-input-vi provide scim- m17n which support Vietnamese input method. But In karmic and lucid this package "didn't come up with any input method for Vietnamese yet". Ubuntu-VN community has recently developed an input method for scim and ibus from the most popular open-source Vietnamese input method engine for Windows ( http://unikey.org ). Scim-unikey and ibus-unikey are stable now, they have been used by many Vietnamese users. So I think It is good enough to replace scim-m17n for Vietnamese input method because they are smart and have many feature than m17n. Could you please move ibus-unikey and scim-unikey to main repository and add it to language-support-input-vi? My problem is difference. I use 1 home partition for 9.04 and 9.10. I couldn't use Intenal Microphone in 9.10 but in 9.04 I could. After that I found that the 2.6.32 kernel (from Ubuntu). I came back to 2.6.31 and i work perfectly. There is a mystery, sometime i could record from Pulse. when i'm listen to music, it record exactly what i'm heard (when the sound is muted, it stop). It feature like what you heard Function from Windows. This bug haven't fixed yet in Lucid. I've allready checked the translate string in Launchpad and strings -eS /usr/share/locale-langpack/vi/LC_MESSAGES/evolution-indicator.mo The bug effect when i setup a new account with "Set Up Mail...". Then there is no translation for Compose New Email or Contacts if I haven't started the Evolution yet. Even when I click to the Compose New Email, But when I clicked to Contacts or "Thư điện tử" then the Evolution will start, and these String will change to Vietnamese. This bug is not from translation, it's from the application itself. Login to user A. 2. Choose switch user from User A. 3. Login to user B. 4. Logout from user B. After that the screen just go blank. The music from Rhythmbox of user A still playing, I can't swith to tty1 (by ctrl + alt + F1), but I can use the Magic SysRq key to reboot the system. In my laptop it's usally happen, it rarely happen but exist in my computer. I think this bug is very critical because I need to use many user for testing application and translation of ubuntu. The problem come from old version on the usb disk. Unetbootin didn't delete the old version and override it with new version. Dear Ma Xiaojun, Can you give me your configuration of im-config. I 've followed your instruction to compile and install im-config. Then i launch im-config and choose ibus as user configuration. But the im indicator still disapeared.i still have to use ibus-daemon -rxd command to show the icon. After login i can't see the ibus icon on the tray bar. The probability of this bug is 50 percent. I do 10 login and logout, just 5 of login show up with ibus icon. To make ibus icon (indicator) show on. I must to kill ibus-daemon and run it again. With "ibus-daemon -x -d" i could type in skype, but without -x parameter I couldn't. (or just run ibus-daemon -rxd) What I can do to test this bug. An resolution for this bug is add ibus to the configuration of com.canonical.Unity.Panel systray-whitelist It'll look like ['JavaEmbeddedFrame', 'Wine', 'scp-dbus-service', 'Update-notifier', 'ibus'] I think it the bug come from scp-dbus-service or systray whitelist. I think it doesn't have any chances since the lastest release of this package for lucid (except the comment for S-Fone in serviceproviders.xml). I'll ask other people who is using this service to test about the phone number dialed. But the importance is the configuration for mobifone using m-wap as APN. Could you confirm that: if a ISP provide many plans and using different APN, so I just need to append another apn value to a provider. I'll open another bug on Gnome when collecting enough data. There are about few days before freeze process expire if we waiting for Debian, Vietnamese Ubuntu user might not use this version from Default ubuntu repository and it will be useless.
