[Bug 132483] Re: Firefox shows wrong image of same name taken from the cache
I've seen this happen again a couple weeks ago (using Firefox 3 in Intrepid), but I can't reproduce it. I think it might be related to when Firefox crashes, so I'm going to try it when I get back home (I wonder if Flash 10 crashes less than 9 =P ). -- Firefox shows wrong image of same name taken from the cache https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/132483 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 250089] Re: Gnome keyboard applet layout wrong after reboot - "third level modifier" stuck on
Same thing happening here, with US (us intl with dead keys) and BR-ABNT2 layouts. And I don't even use application-specific layouts, as my ABNT2 keyboard is an external USB one. -- Gnome keyboard applet layout wrong after reboot - "third level modifier" stuck on https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/250089 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 215450] Re: Realtek RTL8139/810x Family Fast not working u(Hardy 8.04)
I can confirm this bug too on Ubuntu 8.10. I have a Foxconn A6VMX motherboard which has the rtl8101e onboard network adapter, and it is unable to connect via DHCP on my LG ADSL modem (LAM 400c). The strange thing is that, when I connect my PC directly to the modem, "sudo dhclient eth0" says "send_packet:message too long" and can't connect to anything else anymore until reboot. Now, if I connect the modem to another machine I have (running Windows XP and with ICS set up), the XP machine gets a connection, and my machine connected to the XP machine gets a DHCP address with no further problems. -- Realtek RTL8139/810x Family Fast not working u(Hardy 8.04) https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/215450 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 155550] Firefox doesn't recognize the Java Blackdown plugin
Public bug reported: Binary package hint: firefox On (K)Ubuntu 7.10 amd64, after following the steps in http://plugindoc.mozdev.org/linux-amd64.html#java-blackdown to get the Java plugin, Firefox doesn't find the new plugin after restarting. [Bug 157778] Re: [gutsy] Crashing with "Deskbar has unexpectedly quit"
I get the same error, via: 1- gnome-panel freezes 2- kill gnome-panel with -9 3- gnome-panel restarts, and deskbar-applet crashes. Sometimes the deskbar-applet crashes "on its own", asking the same question, if it should be reloaded. I removed it from the panel, and it stopped crashing. [Bug 157778] Re: [gutsy] Crashing with "Deskbar has unexpectedly quit"
I don't think it found anything, but, as I type, gnome-panel froze again. And it only happens when the deskbar-applet is running. Don't know what else could be conflicting with it. What I saw was that, when gnome-panel first froze (while running gdb), it froze while deskbar-applet had an open thread, which closed when I killed gnome-panel. ** Attachment added: "Requested backtrace" http://launchpadlibrarian.net/10195607/gdb-deskbarapplet.txt -- [gutsy] Crashing with "Deskbar has unexpectedly quit" https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/157778 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 157778] Re: [gutsy] Crashing with "Deskbar has unexpectedly quit"
I found out that the deskbar-applet isn't the responsible for freezing the gnome-panel, it's Pidgin. I purged the deskbar-applet via synaptic, now I'm going to nuke pidgin.
