i'm having the same problem. i just need to start my pc, log in, and then close the session. the screen will go blank, and ctrl-alt-del or anything like that won't work. I have to restart the pc to be able to log in again. But I'm using a Radeon XPress 1100 with the proprietary driver. TIA, Khristian
