[Bug 754000] Re: Running Unity disables Xorg's 3-finger click support (middle click)
I as well may confirm that three button tap does not work with xserver- xorg-input-synaptics 1.5.99.902-0ubuntu1 (precise) update. "xinput test" doesn't show a thing. This new bug is absolutely unrelated to unity though. [Bug 754000] Re: Running Unity disables Xorg's 3-finger click support (middle click)
I'm not really sure about the brand and make of my touchpad. It's on a VAIO laptop and xinput lists it as " SynPS/2 Synaptics TouchPad". I believe my case to be different from #873482 as 2-finger taps works fine and xinput does NOT report anything from a 3-finger tap. I'm now back to 1.5.99.901-0ubuntu2 (precise) as it works flawlessly for me. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/754000 Title: Running Unity disables Xorg's 3-finger click support (middle click) To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/mactel-support/+bug/754000/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 949465] Re: XIScrollClass increment value incorrectly handled on 32-bit machines
ubuntu 12.04 amd64 here with libxi6 1.5.99.3-0ubuntu2; natural scroll does not work in gtk/gnome apps (like everyone else it seems); but XIScrollClasses increment is shown correctly as 137.0. [Bug 1886235] [NEW] EMU 1212m card (emu10k1 driver) stops working after PCI reset
Public bug reported: After using my computer for a day or so and coming back to it, my sound card, EMU 1212m, randomly stops to work. And the only solution I have found is completely turn off the power to the motherboard and wait a few minutes until powering back on. Thanks for helping to resolve this problem. I've notice that it's not just nautilus, right click menus are all other apps appear at an offset as well. [Bug 1832449] Re: Right click menu does not appear near the mouse on multi-monitor setup
Oh my goodness. I just found out the culprit was the Gnome extension "Multi Monitors Add-On". I had originally installed this extension so that I can have the top bar on both monitors. It wasn't a kernel panic. It was just the installer crashing. This was due to the alsa sound drivers I had installed earlier. apt-get -f install fixed everything after deleting these files: usr/include/sound/asequencer.h usr/include/sound/asound.h usr/include/sound/compress_params.h usr/include/sound/emu10k1.h usr/include/sound/hdsp.h usr/include/sound/sb16_csp.h -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1084405 Title: package linux-libc-dev 3.5.0-18.29 [modified: usr/include/sound/asequencer.h usr/include/sound/asound.h usr/include/sound/compress_params.h usr/include/sound/emu10k1.h usr/include/sound/hdsp.h usr/include/sound/sb16_csp.h] failed to install/upgrade: trying to overwrite shared '/usr/include/sound/emu10k1.h', which is different from other instances of package linux-libc-dev:i386 To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/1084405/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 1837806] [NEW] Disk usage pie chart in properties dialog of nautilus is all dark
Public bug reported: It used to be that when I right click on the the root directory in nautilus and click properties, I'd see a colored pie chart that would look something like this: https://i.stack.imgur.com/eqwvr.png But, when I click "+ Other locations", click "Computer", right click and click "Properties", I am greeted with this instead: https://i.imgur.com/9dhc0cz.png It looks like the pie chart is broken because the colors are not displaying properly. I ran this bug report with `ubuntu-bug`, so hopefully it contains enough details about my setup, but just in case, I am using Intel HD Graphics 5500 on Ubuntu 19.04, with Gnome 3.32.0, which I installed today. Let me know if you need more information.
