[Bug 934883] [NEW] Application drop down menus font colors do not follow theme (xubuntu)

[Bug 941412] Re: Human theme does not apply in some apps (e.g. gedit, nautilus)
Well with the new MyUnity tweak tool, it is now possible to change themes in Ubuntu (not talking about xubuntu) on the fly. [Bug 926695] [NEW] Make "Show Desktop" detect active windows instead of just toggle Desktop/All windows
Public bug reported: Right now the Show Desktop feature (through button or Ctrl-Alt-D) behaves like a regular toggle and nothing more. So, one click will minimize all windows and the next click (even if I reopen windows) will show all windows again. This leads to the following anomaly: 1. Open three windows e.g. 2 terminals and gedit 2. Click on Show Desktop > All windows minimize 3. Open a new window (any app) or make a minimized window active (unminimize) 4. Click on Show Desktop Observed: All windows are brought back Expected: All windows are minimized So basically, when there is at least one window active, the Show Desktop should detect this and reset itself so that the next time it is clicked, it minimizes all active windows and shows the desktop as is expected > Gnome 2 behaves exactly like this (Ubuntu 10.10). The Show Desktop should not reset itself when no window has become active (so all windows minimized) after Show Desktop was clicked to minimize all windows. In that case, clicking Show Desktop again may unminimize all windows. I hope I made it somewhat clear. As Show Desktop behaves right now, it is unconsistent in my opinion. Thanks! [Bug 937822] Re: [precise] F10 always opens the menu, cannot be overriden (after xkeyboard-config update)
There is a workaround for the context menus in gnome-terminal NOT to open upon pressing F10, it is in post#8 of this thread: https://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?id=129872 Create a new file: ~/.config/gtk-3.0/gtk.css, then add this: @binding-set NoKeyboardNavigation { unbind "F10" } * { gtk-key-bindings: NoKeyboardNavigation } Close all terminal windows and restart terminal. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/937822 Title: [precise] F10 always opens the menu, cannot be overriden (after xkeyboard-config update) To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/gtk/+bug/937822/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 1195725] [NEW] Nautilus window jumping with dual monitors
Public bug reported: Not sure whether this is a Nautilus bug or window manager bug, but here goes ... A bug report has already been filed at askubuntu : http://askubuntu.com/questions/279641/nautilus-dual-monitor-issue I have a dual monitor setup (big desktop style where mouse goes from one screen to the other) in Precise 12.04.2 with my laptop on the left and external screen on the right. I have an ATI Radeon HD3635 card using fglrx drivers and I'm always using the Gnome Classic (No effects) environment. What happens: 1. Open Nautilus program on ext screen and maximize it 2. The Nautilus window jumps to the laptop screen What should happen: 1. Open Nautilus program on ext screen and maximize it 2. The Nautilus window should stay where it is. On the ext screen. When it doesn't happen: 1. Open Nautilus program on ext screen and make sure it's not maximized 2. The Nautilus window stays on the ext screen I also have a startup script doing this: /usr/bin/xrandr --output CRT1 --right-of LVDS /usr/bin/xrandr --output CRT1 --primary Where CRT1 is the ext screen and LVDS is laptop screen. Any help is appreciated, even more because Precise stays supported until 2017. And it's an annoying bug. ;) ** Affects: nautilus (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1195725 Title: Nautilus window jumping with dual monitors To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/nautilus/+bug/1195725/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
