[Bug 529407] [NEW] Typo in preferences
Public bug reported: Binary package hint: midori I'm using Midori with a german localisation. When typing Strg+Alt+P (open preferences window) the last tab reads "Privatssphäre". [Bug 434675] [NEW] Keybindings lost after every reboot
Public bug reported: Binary package hint: gnome-control-center Since I updated to karmic the individually set keybindings are lost on every new reboot/login. I use gnome-keybinding-properties to set keybindings (i.e. Strg+Alt+T -- run a terminal). If I log out of my X session or reboot the computer the setting is reset to default settings (which means no keybinding for "run a terminal"). [Bug 125317] Re: html-helper-mode has a reserved keybinding
This bug is still an issue, because it is a general convention for key binding in GNU/Emacs. See http://www.gnu.org/software/emacs/elisp/html_node/Key-Binding-Conventions.html> for details: "Don't define C-c letter as a key in Lisp programs. Sequences consisting of C-c and a letter (either upper or lower case) are reserved for users; they are the only sequences reserved for users, so do not block them." -- html-helper-mode has a reserved keybinding https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/125317 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 125317] Re: html-helper-mode has a reserved keybinding
Maybe it is a good idea to change all key bindings for character entities to C-cC-c. This key binding is similar the old C-c, so users won't have to change much in their habits. Please check the attached patch. ** Patch added: "0001-Changed-all-entity-keys-to-use-C-cC-c.patch" http://launchpadlibrarian.net/50065714/0001-Changed-all-entity-keys-to-use-C-cC-c.patch -- html-helper-mode has a reserved keybinding https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/125317 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 616501] Re: Kernel > 2.6.32-20 doesn ’t boot, /dev/disk/by-uuid/... not found
I found the cause of the problem. The 'root=' entry in grub seems to cause the problems. If I change it to kernel /boot/vmlinuz-2.6.32... root=/dev/sda1 ... the system boots without any problems. The error message from my original report disappears. I can boot any kernel (10.04, mainline, vanilla kernel from Linus' git). Changing the root entry to '.. root=UUID=...' leads to problems in all 10.04 kernels past minor version -20. -- Kernel > 2.6.32-20 doesn’t boot, /dev/disk/by-uuid/... not found https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/616501 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
