[Bug 354264] [NEW] Imports all photos to the root of the home directory

2009-04-02 Thread Jean-luc Henry
Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: f-spot

Fresh install of Ubuntu 9.04 beta.

- I have never opened F-spot before.
- I connected my camera and my camera folder appeared on my desktop (you can
see here an other bug as F-Spot did not launched automatically).
- I opened the folder and clicked on top right on the button to open in F-Spot.
- I imported correctly my pictures in F-Spot.
- You can also see that F-spot did not complains that a 'Photos' folder is not
present as it is already present.

The problem:
- My pictures have been imported in /home/myusername/ instead of
/home/myusername/Photos
- If I got in F-Spot preferences, I can see that Importation folder is
correctly configured as /home/myusername/Photos
- /home/myusername/Photos is empty.

You might also want to know. When clicking on Nautilus import in F-spot
button, F-spot open correctly and is able to import perfectly pictures
(what it is, btw, unable when launched directly:
https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/f-spot/+bug/354264).

And after having clicked on Nautilus F-spot button, here is the process
launched:

ps axfw|grep f-spot

[Bug 354264] Re: Imports all photos to the root of the home directory

2009-04-04 Thread Jean-luc Henry
In order to be able to reproduce it correctly, I removed any trace of f-spot:
$ rm -rf ./.gnome2/f-spot

And then I launched f-spot with Nautilus button. And as you can see on
the print-screen destination folder selected is "Jlhenry" (my username
and the root of my user directory: /home/jlhenry) and not "Photos".

After having imported some photos, I go to Edit->Preferences and
default importation folder is "Photos".

I can confirm that I have a "Photos" folder located in my root
(/home/jlhenry/Photos):
drwxr-xr-x 2 jlhenry jlhenry 4096 2009-04-04 09:10 Photos

Strange...

[Bug 355141] [NEW] BadWindow (invalid Window parameter)

2009-04-04 Thread Jean-luc Henry
Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: gnome-utils

When selecting capture the current window, gnome-screenshot crash.

Error message:
$ gnome-screenshot --interactive
The program 'gnome-screenshot' received an X Window System error.
This probably reflects a bug in the program.
The error was 'BadWindow (invalid Window parameter)'.
  (Details: serial 5015 error_code 3 request_code 15 minor_code 0)
  (Note to programmers: normally, X errors are reported asynchronously;
that is, you will receive the error a while after causing it.
To debug your program, run it with the --sync command line
option to change this behavior. You can then get a meaningful
backtrace from your debugger if you break on the gdk_x_error() function.)

When defining a delay of 2 seconds, it is working correctly. But the
default is 0 seconds.

2010-03-31 Thread Jean-luc Henry
Same bug with Firefox (3.5.8 & 3.6), and Chromium (5.0.365.0 &
5.0.307.11)!

I was testing ajaxterm and it was working perfectly! After a few minutes
I got this bug.

I can't access the server right now (that's why ajaxterm...), so I can't
try restarting ajaxterm daemon, but I guess it would help.

>From my point of view, this bug is server side.

Btw, ajaxterm is running inside apache and I access it behind http proxy
(tinyproxy).

I was disconnected twice while viewing this video:

Using Ubuntu 10.04 on Thinkpad T60. To get back my wifi, I had to
manualy disconnect the wifi with my laptop switch, wait, then put on the
switch.

Here is my log when I got disconnected:

[Bug 752445] Re: Intermittent white window contents when maximizing/switching windows

2011-04-19 Thread Jean-luc Henry
It's may be inapropriate to write this here, but I do not understand why:
- This bug status is "Incomplete", and not "Confirmed" (there is 18 people
saying they are affected, and two duplicated bugs...)
- Its Importance is "Undecided" despite the fact that its even impossible to
open "Control center" (too big so it's white, and can't resize).
- Also, "This bug report will be marked for expiration in 58 days if no further
activity occurs" But there is activity, people are reporting/commenting this
bug.

Any idea why? I know we are in Beta 2 (old name for RC), but I'm worried
because final release is in less than 10 days, and nothing seems to
change on this (major) issue.

Thanks,
Jean-Luc
