Hi Bruce/all, first of all thank you for the hard work. I can try to reproduce having the fix installed, but I haven't found a reliable way to. @iFred, I saw your method involved running git citool from the Recovery console session. [Bug 777964] [NEW] Dead zone on the screen
Public bug reported: Binary package hint: xorg After the latest upgrade to Natty, there're many 'dead zones' in the screen, where the server interprets as the mouse being above the desktop instead of the current window. This happens with both Unity and Classic Desktop. Attached is a screencast showing the behavior when using the mouse middle-click (that in my case triggers the Rotate Cube Desktop compiz effect). Of course, when the mouse is on this wormhole area, it won't interact with the current window's controls or objects, making this one of the most annoying bugs one could encounter. I'm having the same issue here. But I noticed something else, if my mouse pointer is in the dead zone, and I click my middle button, it triggers the Inititate Rotate Cube effect from compiz (o presumably, any other compiz effect you have binded to that mouse event). [Bug 658245] [NEW] window buttons focus behaves erratically
Public bug reported: Binary package hint: light-themes Sometimes after moving the cursor over any of the window close, min or max buttons, the button color doesn't change as if it never received focus. On other occasions, after hovering one and moving the cursor away, the button stays the same as if it were still having focus. The attached screenshot is an example of the later case (I still haven't managed to find a way to capture the other one with the cursor embedded). Notice the difference between both minimize buttons. ** Affects: light-themes (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Tags: ambience buttons close color focus max min -- window buttons focus behaves erratically https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/658245 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
