[Bug 971876] Re: Realtek Card Reader RTL8411 Device 5289 (PCI 03:00.0) Driver and udisks Rule

2013-01-25 Thread Dmitry Andreevich
I'm using Ubuntu 12.04 (3.2.0-36-generic-pae) on ASUS K55A, SD Card reader was
the only hadware that does not work from the box.
Using rts_bpp module as described fixed the situation. Thanks a lot to the
author.

[Bug 697408] [NEW] Mountpoint displays incorrectly when typing

2011-01-04 Thread Dmitry Andreevich
Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: pysdm

In partition's "General configuration" tab, I want to add media to mount on
boot. By default disk name coincide with partition name, I'm trying to change
this. I press the button to choose mountpoint, and select, say "/media", "Name"
field changes to "media". Than, when trying to type folder name in "Name"
string "/media" duplicates in "Mountpoint" string each time I press any key.
For example, I have "media" in Name field and type "/DISK1" to the end - result
mountpoint will be "/media/media/media/media/media/media/DISK1".
If removing "media" from "Name" field first, than mountpoint will be "/DISK1"
that is incorrect as well.

I expect that interface behavior does not change after choosing
mountpoint from dialog. "Mountpoint" string must contain the point I
selected ("/media/") and what was typed in "Name" must appends to it.

Also (must it be submitted as a separate bug/suggestion?) must propose
disk label instead of partition name as a default "Name" or even allows
to choose between them.

[Bug 625048] Re: Totem Crashes On Adjusting Volume

2011-02-23 Thread Dmitry Andreevich
I have the same problem, totem sometimes crashes when changing volume. This
does not seem to depend on file type played - I've got this error with mp3,
avi, wma and others. Also, similar problem appears in Rhythmbox, as described
in Bug #517310.
I've installed all -dbg files necessary and attach crash trace here.
