[Bug 986539] [NEW] Banner/ad leads to non-existing packages
Public bug reported: One of the banners in the software center appearently links to 4 Ubuntu- related books, but when i click the ad/banner, I just get the following error: " Not found There isn't a software package called "ubuntu-unleashed 2012 ubuntu-unleashed-2011 ubuntu-practical-guide ubuntu-server-book official-ubuntu-book "in your current software sources. And that's even after i did an "apt-get update" ** Affects: software-center (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/986539 Title: Banner/ad leads to non-existing packages To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/software-center/+bug/986539/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 990177] [NEW] Hibernate just gives me the lockscreen, does nothing
Public bug reported: When I attempt to hibernate my computer in Ubuntu 12.10 (that also goes for Ubuntu 11.10, and have never worked on any of my 2 laptops), the screen goes black, and if i move the mouse or press a key, I just get the lockscreen. So in other words, Hibernate = lock computer for me. I'll post dmesg, kernel log etc a bit later. ** Affects: hibernate (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/990177 Title: Hibernate just gives me the lockscreen, does nothing To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/hibernate/+bug/990177/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 73805] Re: Hibernate will not poweroff laptop at very "last" step
Having sort of the same problem, but the computer just goes back to normal operation again, spending some time to get network (wlan) etc getting up and running again. Also, after installing Ubuntu 12.04, the Hibernate-option disappeared from the power-menu, even tho I've did a 'apt-get install hibernate'. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/73805 Title: Hibernate will not poweroff laptop at very "last" step To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/hibernate/+bug/73805/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 910959] Re: Aspire one 522 won't boot Ubuntu
Realized that this is'nt exactly a bug, since I dont know the cause of the problem, and I'm not able to produce any logs. Maybe I should've posted this on the forums instead, but some googling told me that one of the drivers in Ubuntu 11.10 casuses the PC to crash. [Bug 910959] [NEW] Aspire one 522 won't boot Ubuntu
Public bug reported: I've tried to boot Ubuntu 11.10 32-bit from USB, but no matter if i I choose to run Ubuntu directly or install it, I get the normal bunch of boot and debug-messages. It then stops at the same error/debug message every time, the screen goes black, (even tho I've pressed ctrl-alt-f1 to stay in terminal) and the netbook does'nt respond to any keypresses. I'll take a note of the last error-message and post it asap.
