** Description changed: I've tried to boot Ubuntu 11.10 32-bit from USB, but no matter if i I choose to run Ubuntu directly or install it, I get the normal bunch of boot and debug-messages. It then stops at the same error/debug message every time, the screen goes black, (even tho I've pressed ctrl-alt-f1 to stay in terminal) and the netbook does'nt respond to any keypresses. I'll take a note of the last error-message and post it asap. + EDIT: I went back and tried to boot the netbook a few times more, this + time I noticed that it seems to crash when it goes from the bootscreen + (logo + 5 yellow dots), to X running in fullscreen in order to show the + logon screen. + + Needless to say, at this point im unable to provide any log files. + + When creating the usb-drive for the installation, there is an option called + "Set a persistent file size for storing changes (optional)." + + I'm thinking that enabling this, and then adding some boot parameters + when starting the installation from the bootscreen would enable + bootlogging and store those logs on the usb-stick? + + Any help would be appreciated. + HW INFO: Aspire One 522-C5Dkk CPU: AMD C-60 APU with Radeon HD graphics
