Are you sure? I simply tell that there's no option to empty trash when you
presh rigth click in the usb stick icon or when the usb stick are full. I see
the bug that you propose as duplicate, but it not seems to be the same thing I

Probably I haven't got enough knowledge to know this.
Please, read again and verify if it is a duplicate bug again.
Thank you =)

[Bug 986843] [NEW] Onboard randomly sets as default in lock screen

2012-04-22 Thread Carlos Soriano Sánchez
Public bug reported:

The onboard randomly is set to default when unlocking the screen.
I can't reproduce the bug. It's happens to me twice times, in different
contexts.
Each time I have to go to onboard settings and unclick "show onboard when
unlokcing the screen".
Also, in askubuntu:
http://askubuntu.com/questions/84050/how-do-i-disable-the-on-screen-keyboard-in-the-unlock-screen
The user indicates that " I'm not sure how I activated these settings in the
first place though" and I'm sure that is the same issue that happens to me.

[Bug 986884] [NEW] Notification number of a chat window also showed while talcking

2012-04-22 Thread Carlos Soriano Sánchez
Public bug reported:

To reproduce:
Somebody talk to you
A notification is showed in the above bar.
Wait until dissapears.
Go down an wait until appears the notification bar and all the notifications in
the right place
Click in the chat icon from the person who talked you
Talk him
The notification number of the lines that are talked to you is still showed,
and it is not the expected, isn't it?

It's a very low importance feedback. And a fix will be maybe 3 lines of
code (I think) =)

[Bug 987424] [NEW] Icon separate of the bar can't move to down

2012-04-23 Thread Carlos Soriano Sánchez
Public bug reported:

I can't move down (to penultimate position) and reorder a icon if I separate
the icon of the bar.
To reproduce bug:
click and separate the icon of the bar. Try to put it in the penultimate
position of the bar. You can not.

Workaround:
don't separate the icon of the bar.

Possible soluttion:
It seem to be a issue in the code, in some "if" statament that allow only to
n-2 and not to n-1 which is expected. (the position of n is not allowed because
is the space switcher, and I don't know but you can not reorder this

[Bug 980159] Re: HUD window focus changes between invocations

2012-04-23 Thread Carlos Soriano Sánchez
Sorry for the 12.04 response, it's obvius of course...it's new in 12.04,
I forgot it, sorry.

" that seems a different issue than the first one you described which
said "between invocations""

Yes, it's different, and sorry for the confussion. But as you say
"ubuntuone has no menu so it's normal that no menu item is listed for
it" and "the HUD lists indicators entries as well (ranked bellow the
focussed application ones though), that's for easy access to system
functions (think replying to messages, changing im status, commanding
your music player, etc)" so, if it is expected, there's no error. I
expected that nothing is showed, and yes, it's helpful. Sorry =)

Going back to the original bug.
I tried in other programs, and I can't reproduce. Only in gimp.
I atach a first capture of the first invocation in this answer, and I will
atach another capture of the second invocation in the next answer.

2012-04-23 Thread Carlos Soriano Sánchez
Oh for what I'v seen I'm agree with you.
After read you I try this:
With not maximized gimp.
Aply gaussian filter
Go to the top bar of gimp, and YES, focus is lost. No menu is showed(File,
etc...). And I try to drag and drop in the top bar and other application is
dragged, not gimp.

With maximize gimp, something similar happens, but i can drag and drop gimp
after gaussian filter aplied.

[Bug 980159] Re: gimp window focus changes between invocations

2012-04-23 Thread Carlos Soriano Sánchez
Some unexpected news.
I'm not sure if it is the same bug, but I think that the bug is not related of
gimp, is a unity focus issue.
To reproduce (for example):
open chrome
click on chrome to ensure that the focus is in the chrome
open trash from the icon of the bar
don't click the windows of the trash(but the trash is already open and
maximized)
close in the top bar.
The application closed is chrome, not trash.
In short, the focus is not correct.

Also, I don't know if it is the same bug, please notice me about what I
have to report.

[Bug 988068] [NEW] Bottom bar of gnome shell is enterely functional when somebody talk to you and pop up is showed

2012-04-24 Thread Carlos Soriano Sánchez
Public bug reported:

I attached a photo with the issue, using the gnome-shell debug tool. See the
attached photo to understand the next explanation.
As you can see, when somebody talks to you, the pop up is showed, but the
entirely bar is functional, and it is not the expected.
The mouse is positioned in the "supposed" bar which expected behaviour is not
to be functional, and as you can see, the icons of the bar remain functional.

[Bug 988066] [NEW] Bottom bar of gnome shell is enterely functional when somebody talk to you and pop up is showed

[Bug 1000242] Re: Dell XPS 14z trackpad seems not supported

2012-05-21 Thread Carlos Soriano Sánchez
Oh, but as I said, in windows I have multitouch up to 5 fingers...is it
possible that in ubuntu have I only for two fingers gestures?
Also, last day I tap with three fingers accidentally in ubuntu in one link of a
web page and I had notice that it did a middle click(and the link opened in a
new tab), so as I can see mi trackpad has support for more gestures than two
fingers.
Is it possible?

Thank you for the support =)

[Bug 998826] [NEW] Gnome keyring doesn't change after changing password in gnome-control-center

2012-05-13 Thread Carlos Soriano Sánchez
Public bug reported:

Steps I did:
gnome-control-center
change user name
change password
change password
(yes, twice times)
reboot

Then, always asked me to input the keyring password, and none of my
passwords were correct(not the old password neither the new password).

Workaround:
Delete keyrings directory on my home folder. The graphical seahorse didn't work
to change my password. As I say, seahorse said me that none passwords were
correct.

[Bug 986089] [NEW] USB drives doesn't display "empty trash"

2012-04-20 Thread Carlos Soriano Sánchez
Public bug reported:

To reproduce the bug:
Put some files in your USB stick
Delete some files (So this files were moved to .Trash1000)
And if I put some more files, there not show the dialog to empty the trash.
Also there is not a dialog to empty trahs in the options of the USB stick.
The only way to delete the files is to delete .Trash1000 folder, which is
hidden as deffault.
Obviusly new/normal users doesn't know that there is a folder with his own
files already deleted.
So, I propose two implementations:
When the USB stick is full and you are n ot allowed to copy some files, in the
sowhed dialog show the option to empty trash.
Also, show the option to empty trash in the rigth click options of the USB
stick.

[Bug 984441] Re: Compiz 100% CPU and irresponsible after last update

2012-04-20 Thread Carlos Soriano Sánchez
Also, in unity 2D some graphical issues are showed.
It seems to be something about drivers, but before the last update it's not
happening
Also, gnome shell is working as unity, unresponsible and very laggy.

[Bug 986140] [NEW] Wifi password asked twice in install

2012-04-20 Thread Carlos Soriano Sánchez
Public bug reported:

When you are installing ubuntu, there's an option to connect to internet to
"download updates while installing"
So
Click in the wifi applet
Put the password of your wifi
Then, you can tick the "download updates while installing" option.
Clik it.
Next
Then, you go to another page that ask you again about the wifi network do you
want to connect and the password.

I think that when you put the password the first time, thes next page of
installation when ask you again about the wifi network will be skipped.

[Bug 986843] Re: Onboard randomly sets as default in lock screen

2012-05-03 Thread Carlos Soriano Sánchez
Marmuta:
With "different" context I mean that it happens without specific action. One
time I was navigating internet, and the other time I was programming.
BUT, the first time I'm sure that I click on onboard program accidentally and I
closed it. The next time I got the onboard in the gnome lock screen. Then I
disable it in the GUI settings.
The second time I don't remember if accidentally click on onboard accidentally,
but i'm pretty sure I didn't open onboard program.

I used GUI method twice to disable the onboard.

Since then (date of the bug report) I don't get the error again.

Stephen:
Sorry I didn't understand you, i put the -w option in the command line but it
demands some more. If it need a window id, how can I know a window id?

Chase Dougals:
I knew it because of the manufacturer specifications and because I have
multitouch gestures (up to 5 fingers gestures) in windows operating system.

Also, thank you for the quick answers.
