Hi Jonathan, Thank you for your help with network manager. I have downloaded Feisty Herd 4 and it is detecting my wireless network card when it boots from CD, at the moment i can not install it. The problem is when i configure the connection to the wireless network, Feisty is not able to configure my network card.I think Feisty should detect and connect to the wireless network when booting from CD, i really would want to know why it is not connecting to the wireless network. Did you hear about wifi-radar?, it seems to be better than network manager for wireless networks, it is developed in python, may be you want to check how it works to improve the networkmanager wireless connection detection and configuration. Public bug reported: My kubuntu was working fine with kernel 2.6.10 but the updater indicated that there was a kernel update to version 2.6.11, i updated and after update my wirless card is not working. I ave a laptop hp pavilion ze5400, my wireless card is a intersil corporation prism 2.5 wavelan chipset I hope it helps to get kubuntu better.
