Re: [Bug 303243] Re: Aspire 1680 doesn't shutdown
I boot my computer with usplash disabled (removing "splash" and "quiet" of the kernel line). After logging in, it doesn't load my desktop icons, panels etc... and I also can't do anything. Sometimes with kernel 2.6.27-9 and kernel 2.6.25-2 after logging in, ubuntu hangs up. -- Aspire 1680 doesn't shutdown https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/303243 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 177187] Re: [Upstream] [hardy] OpenOffice Calc Chart Legend will not resize
I am using Ubuntu Hardy Heron and Open Office 2.4.1 (openoffice.org-core 1:2.4.1-1ubuntu2) and experiecing the above described issue. The leyend cannot be resized, if you try to do so It will only move. No way to modify the size of the leyend. Also, It doesn's even adapt to the text size and some text is cut into two lines. I do not quite well how launchpad works, I understood, by the former lines of Chris Cheney, this would be treated on the version 2.4.0. Am I right? [Bug 926346] Re: The transparency around the Gnome menu icons is wrong after the latest update
The GNOME Icon Theme is not in the gnome-themes-standard package, it is in the gnome-icon-theme package. The gnome-themes-standard package contains the GTK+, Cursor and Metacity themes. I believe that this bug is caused by recent changes to GTK+; in the last 3 unstable releases of GTK+, there are numerous changes in how GTK+ Themes interact with the GTK+ and GLib libraries, one of them being GResource. So, this bug will be 'fixed', _if I'm correct_, if the themes with the problem will be updated to use the new additions and changes to the GTK+ and GLib libraries. This doesn't seem to be a problem with icon themes, since changing icon themes doesn't do anything (see attachments in comment #5 and #7; in #5 the GNOME and Ubuntu Mono Dark icon themes are tested, in #7 the Faience icon theme is tested). I will try to compile GTK+ from Git and use the older GTK+ releases to see if the problem is still there. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/926346 Title: The transparency around the Gnome menu icons is wrong after the latest update To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gtk+3.0/+bug/926346/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

I tried compiling gdk-pixbuf but there's no difference :/ (though it would be nice if 2.25.2 will be included in the archives). I also tried installing older GTK+ and GLib (the versions before: 3.3.10-0ubuntu3 and 2.31.12-0ubuntu1, they are very dependent according to the GTK+ Mailing List). The bug is not there.
