[Bug 290543] Re: Can't toggle audio recording for devices in Volume Control applet to 'on' state
I see the same faulty behaviour in gnome-volume-control, meaning the "Toggle audio recording from Capture" always is off (the state with the white X on red ground on it) when opening the window. I can't reproduce it right now, but it seemed like the state of that setting had some effect as to whether I could record something on my system or not, one or two hours ago today. But after also playing around a little with alsamixer, the microphone now always works, regardless of this setting. -- Can't toggle audio recording for devices in Volume Control applet to 'on' state https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/290543 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 60315] Re: Launching HTTP Cache Cleaner
I now also frequently see the "Launching KNotify" and another hidden "window" saying something similar to "Starting graphical UI Server" (only a rough translation, my installation is german, but from what I can say from googling I guess this is the "kio_uiserver" application). -- Launching HTTP Cache Cleaner https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/60315 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 371585] Re: window decorations disappear on login
I'm getting the initial problem (disappearing window decorator's after reboot) too. I didn't use this mentioned "Janitor"-Software. And the fix suggested above (removing ~/.gconf) didn't work either. With me, this started after an intrepid->jaunty update. [Bug 74126] Re: gkrellmapcupsd crash when enabled
On Ubuntu 8.10, the same problem still occurs. Same stacktrace and all. Unfortunately the abovementioned "apcupsd.conf" doesn't exist, not in the mentioned directory, nor anywhere else. Can someone tell me where this STATTIME setting now can be found? -- gkrellmapcupsd crash when enabled https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/74126 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 60315] Re: Launching HTTP Cache Cleaner
I can confirm it for intrepid, running a few KDE apps. Vijnana's suggested solution with "StartupNotify=false" in http_cache_cleaner.desktop did not work for me. I can't try naurus's suggestion because the package kcontrol seems not to exist in intrepid repositories. -- Launching HTTP Cache Cleaner https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/60315 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

I just stumbled about these messages too; it obviously isn't really life-threatening, but is there any chance this is getting fixed in the near future? -- getmail4 uses deprecated pyhton module https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/350161 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 491489] Re: Duplicate Entry for Samba Mounts in Places
This bug started to affect me after updating to maverick. It did so on both my machines, when I'm mounting the same SAMBA shares on my NAS. My shares are not mounted on startup. A while after I have clicked on the initially existing drive symbol, I'm getting the error message "Timeout waiting for mount to appear", but a second symbol has long since appeared, and the share is accessible through that second symbol. Interestingly enough, one of my shares is also called "media", but I have a second one with different name which also shows this odd behavior. -- Duplicate Entry for Samba Mounts in Places https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/491489 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
