[Bug 1905896] [NEW] Click any items on index sidebar cause zoom-level to be reset to "Fit Page"

2020-11-27 Thread Bagas Sanjaya
Public bug reported:

When the user click any item on index site bar the zoom level of
displayed document is always reset to "Fit Page". The user had to adjust
zoom level again to match zoom level before such item-click.

Steps to reproduce:
1. Open a PDF that contains document structure (or index) using Atril
2. On sidebar, choose `Index` from document structure drop-down
3. Zoom the page (either using View -> Zoom In/Out or zoom level drop-down or
Ctrl-mouse scroll shortcut)
4. Click any index item on the sidebar. The zoom level will be reset to "Fit
Page"

Expected result: Zoom level stay same before and after clicking index
item

[Bug 1908991] Re: Compose key doesn't work after a while

2021-02-23 Thread Bagas Sanjaya
The kernel config used for my custom kernels is roughly same as official
Ubuntu kernel. The first time I compile the kernel, it is based on
official kernel config, then on subsequent custom kernel updates I
simply run `make olddefconfig`.

[Bug 1908991] [NEW] Compose key doesn't work after a while

2020-12-22 Thread Bagas Sanjaya
Public bug reported:

I attached my M-TECH keyboard to USB 2.0 hub connected to USB 2.0 port
on my laptop. I also attached my mouse to the same hub.

On kernels up to 5.9, compose key (which I defined as Right Super/Right
Win) worked for a while, and then did not work (no accented letter
inserted when typing right sequence). For example, instead of à I got
`a.

On 5.10 kernel (I reported this bug using custom-compiled 5.10.1
kernel), compose key does not work initially.

The workaround is to open Tweaks and redefine compose key to the same
key.

The bug isn't reproduced on v5.8 mainline kernel.

However, sometimes when I clicked suspend, and if the login/lockscreen
prompt displayed instead and I logged in, the system suspended, and when
I clicked the mouse to unsuspend, the desktop unlocked immediately
without logging in and the bluetooth bug still occured.

[Bug 1881888] [NEW] Bluetooth Always Disconnected After Suspend

2020-06-03 Thread Bagas Sanjaya
Public bug reported:

After suspend (either manually or automatically), every time I connect
my phone to the computer through bluetooth, it always disconnected after
several seconds.

Inspecting hcitrace from btmon, I got:

```
< ACL Data TX: Handle 21 flags 0x00 dlen 16  #209 [hci0] 121.395244
  L2CAP: Connection Response (0x03) ident 16 len 8
Destination CID: 0
Source CID: 68
Result: Connection refused - PSM not supported (0x0002)
Status: No further information available (0x)
>
```

Often, the symptom is when I play audio from connected phone, I didn't
hear the sound from my headset connected on my computer, even though I
maxed out volume on the phone.

The problem does not occur when the computer rebooted.

[Bug 1778442] [NEW] google.co.id default to english (firefox 60.0.2)

2018-06-24 Thread Bagas Sanjaya
Public bug reported:

I'm using Kubuntu 18.04, recently done full system upgrade, so firefox
also upgraded to 60.0.2+build1-0ubuntu0.18.04.1. Prior to upgrade
(59.0.2+build1-0ubuntu1 (bionic)), google.co.id displayed in Indonesian
(by default). After the upgrade, it displayed in English by default
(which had to manually select Indonesian language version though). When
I exiting and reopening firefox, the problem still existed.

The course in question only have one lesson, which is to test using Tab.
When opening the course file in Course and Keyboard Layout Editor, the
Tab is listed in "New characters" (thus doesn't highlighted in red in
main edit box in bottom right). I inserted Tab in New characters field
by Ctrl-Shift-U-9.

However, in Training Window, the Tab key isn't highlighted in keyboard
visualization. When the cursor reach Tab, typing the key doesn't make
cursor move, thus the key can't be inserted.

The bug is always reproduced.

Steps to reproduce:
  - In Course and Keyboard Layout Editor, import course attachment (testtab.xml)
  - Pick "Test using Tab" lesson and click Start Training
  - When the cursor reach tab character, type Tab key at your keyboard

[Bug 1866522] [NEW] Wrong Subtitle Displayed when Playing Videos that Contain non-Latin Only Characters in the Title

2020-03-07 Thread Bagas Sanjaya
Public bug reported:

When playing videos in which the title contains non-Latin characters
(such as Cyrillic) only, the wrong subtitle will be displayed if the
directory which the problematic videos above reside also contain
subtitle for another videos in the same directory.

For example, let 'aaa.mp4' be the problematic video file, and
'bbb.it.srt' and 'bbb.mp4' are both Italian subtitle file and its
corresponding video. When running `vlc /path/to/aaa.mp4`, VLC will use
'/path/to/bbb.it.srt' as subtitle for 'aaa.mp4', which is nonsense.

In this case, I expect that no subtitles are used for 'aaa.mp4', since
it doesn't exist.

Steps to reproduce:

0. Open Terminal.

1. 'mkdir vlc-bug-test' and 'cd vlc-bug-test'.

2. Use pip3 from python3-pip package to install you-get.

3. Download 'Confronto tra Matteo Renzi e Marine Le Pen su France 2' by Matteo
Renzi [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Eh_2H-zwwhI] (with 480p MP4 resolution
format, with Italian subtitle) by:
   `you-get --itag=135 'https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Eh_2H-zwwhI'`
   (note that the itag number might be different, use `you-get -i
'https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Eh_2H-zwwhI' to determine the right one).

4. Download 'Настоящая тренировка по хореографии' by Polina Gymnastics
[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wRSECn7c2oE] (with 720p MP4 resolution format,
no subtitles) by:
   `you-get --itag=136 --no-caption
'https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wRSECn7c2oE'
   (again use `you-get -i 'https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wRSECn7c2oE' to
determine the itag number if different).

5. After both Matteo Renzi's and Polina Gymnastics' videos have been
downloaded, play Polina Gymnastics' video by:

   `vlc 'Настоящая тренировка по хореографии.mp4'`.

   VLC will use Italian subtitle from Matteo Renzi's video.

Huh, it was strange why subtitle of Renzi's video played for Polina's
video one.

Note: I got Polina's video on June 2018 via savefrom[.]net downloader,
please get the video by that method and retry reproducing problem. At
the time I got the video, the tile is different than when I posted this

[Bug 1894968] [NEW] vlc assert failure: double free or corruption (!prev) when taking screenshot the second time on same time position

2020-09-09 Thread Bagas Sanjaya
Public bug reported:

I discovered this bug when I tried to take a snapshot of "I Died in a
Car Crash" contemporary dance video by Ana Zimhart
(https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eoocJ3euHy8), which the video itself
had been downloaded long time ago.

When the video played at time position 1:37 (when Ana did
headstand/handstand [baby freeze headstand] trick) I took a snapshot two
times. The first attempt succeed, but the second attempt triggered
double free crash.

Examining log (tail) when running vlc with `vlc -vvv`, I got:
