Just For The Record, I'm making PPA builds of the emesene-crazy bzr branch: https://launchpad.net/~bjfs/+archive/ppa AFAIK emesene 1.0.x support is dropped... -- Please upgrade to emesene-crazy 1.4.8(it has webcam support!) https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/355074 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 571665] Re: [needs-packaging] ttytter
Working version is hosted at my PPA: https://launchpad.net/~bjfs/+archive/ppa although I'm not sure about the license for packaging. The same happened on my Ubuntu Studio 10.04, the quick fix provided by embecka works. [Bug 459162] Re: karmic shutdown error on inspiron 1525
Same here after upgrade to 9.10 from 9.04 on FSC Amilo Si 1520 (Wubi on Vista). Fortunately the system can be powered off (well, at least forced to do so). [Bug 1067712] [NEW] incorrect description of the arguments
Public bug reported: A man page about xtitle writes that: -v, --verbose Quiet mode. Doesn't report the settings performed. Which is obviously misleading. Also, the real --quiet argument (listed in the man's command summary as -q) is not really supported by the script. What's even more misleading is that the script itself describes that argument when invoked with --help Hence, there's severe difference in what xtitle can do and what it says it can ;-) ProblemType: Bug DistroRelease: Ubuntu 12.04 Package: xtitle 1.0.2-3 ProcVersionSignature: Ubuntu 3.2.0-32.51-generic 3.2.30 Uname: Linux 3.2.0-32-generic i686 ApportVersion: 2.0.1-0ubuntu13 Architecture: i386 Date: Wed Oct 17 13:51:04 2012 InstallationMedia: Lubuntu 12.04 "Precise Pangolin" - Release i386 (20120423) PackageArchitecture: all ProcEnviron: TERM=xterm PATH=(custom, no user) LANG=pl_PL.UTF-8 SHELL=/usr/bin/zsh SourcePackage: xtitle UpgradeStatus: No upgrade log present (probably fresh install) ** Affects: xtitle (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Tags: apport-bug i386 precise -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1067712 Title: incorrect description of the arguments To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/xtitle/+bug/1067712/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 740090] Re: Bluetooth dongle requires restart of bluetooth service
This also affects my Amilo Si 1520 32-bit machine. Restarting the bluetooth daemon does the trick. People complain about that on alt.os.linux.ubuntu newsgroup as well.
