Maybe there are new inventions in C compiler technology in the last ten
years, but as far as i know segfaulting means that a program writes data
to part of the memory which are not assigned to the program.
Due to the fact that other programs are killed in cause of this problem
i think its obvious that this is a BIG security problem.
I don't mind about details concerning the bug management (clients are in
an intranet behind a firewall) and only looking for a solution of this
nasty problem.
But when you tell me that this isn't a security problem its better for
ubuntu to close the security department :)
