[Bug 324684] [NEW] Unable to delete/reconfigure IPP printer after initial configuration
Public bug reported: Binary package hint: system-config-printer Package: system-config-printer 1.0.5 or CUPS 1.3.7 After setting up an IPP printer using system-config-printer, I now want to reconfigure the printer to point to a different URI or change its name. However, going to printer properties, the device URI change button is disabled and I cannot type in the text box. I am a member of lpadmin and I ran system-config-printer with sudo. I also cannot delete the printer. This happens for all IPP printers I have configured. My computer is 192.168.0.4, the print server is 192.168.0.5. Configuring CUPS through the web interface, http://localhost:631, I try to modify the printer, and the browser redirects to the CUPS page of the printer host (192.168.0.5) and I get a 403 forbidden. I also cannot delete the printer through the CUPS web interface. Thus, I am stuck with a misconfigured printer and no way to delete it. ** Affects: system-config-printer (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- Unable to delete/reconfigure IPP printer after initial configuration https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/324684 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 354279] [NEW] Will not connect to wired network
Public bug reported: This bug applies to both 8.10 and the 9.04 beta. 8.04 is the last release that worked. The problem I am having is that my computer fails to receive an IP from my router and subsequently doesn't connect to the network. It fails with no obvious errors. The TX light blinks, but it seems the router doesn't respond. It is normally set up as DHCP, but I have also tried static IP with no success. The NIC is an old DEC 21140 using the tulip driver. [Bug 1033319] [NEW] Centrino 1030/iwlwifi disconnects ~30 s from N access points
Public bug reported: Just got a new computer with a centrino N 1030 wireless card. Ubuntu uses the iwlwifi driver with it. When I am connected to an 802.11N access point, the wireless stops working about every 30 seconds, for about 30 seconds. The connection doesn't disconnect, it just stops working. If I'm on a G access point, or force a G connection, everything is fine. [Bug 1033319] Re: Centrino 1030/iwlwifi disconnects ~30 s from N access points
Tested :3.5.0-030500rc7-generic #201207142035 SMP Sun Jul 15 00:35:57 UTC 2012 x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux This kernel will only associate at a max 1Mbps. However, it does not drop connection. I was not able to achieve N bitrates even though I have router set to N connections only. So I don't know if this bug is fixed upstream or not. ** Tags removed: needs-upstream-testing -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1033319 Title: Centrino 1030/iwlwifi disconnects ~30 s from N access points To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/1033319/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
