[Bug 430011] Re: Oops randomly with Huawei E220 3G dongle (regression)
This is very annoying! Imagine the frustration of many newbie and non expert users who only have a mobile internet connection and want upgrade or install 9.10! Some questions to try help some users: - There are any scheduled new ISO releases for 9.10 with this fixed? - Can someone suggest an easy way to install an old kernel like 2.6.31-11 ? -- Oops randomly with Huawei E220 3G dongle (regression) https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/430011 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 455493] Re: network-manager does not detect mobile usb modem
Thanks Alexander Meanwhile, I made some tests and found: - with kernel 2.6.31.11 - modem is detected - with kernel 2.6.31-13 - modem NOT detected - the latest kernel 2.6.31-14 - modem NOT detected Using kernel 2.6.31.11 and everything seems OK. I will continue testing when new kernel updates and report here. There is a small problem with the string name of the modem but this is a minor problem. I will check this later to see if there is any open bug about the same issue. -- network-manager does not detect mobile usb modem https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/455493 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
