[Bug 153889] Re: feisty dist upgrade check does not work
I clean installed Kubuntu 7.10 from CD on new partitions, not upgrading from 7.04. Adept Manager asks me to update some adepts packages and after that it says a new upgrade version is available. (in fact it means 7.10) This has happened twice in this week. (I also got a screen shot of adept, I don't know whether it is needed.) -- feisty dist upgrade check does not work https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/153889 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 207409] Re: [HARDY] xserver-xorg does not auto-configure correctly
I agree with this bug. I was a bit surprised when I found just one line in my Section "Device", that's Identifier "Configured Video Device" Then I guess x.org has changed some behavior. Although the graphic card is working, I want to known how x.org manager to 'guess' my driver and options. I found a GUI setting window (hides in Other -> Screens and Graphic) for users to select a model or select a driver. Then I 'accidently' choosed intel -> i915 driver, cause x.org is running well I don't really need to choose. Next time I login, I was in low resolution and x report a error, driver not found! I have to change xorg.conf manually, especially adding the *one line* I mentioned above, to get X working again. I beg this should not happen especially to newbies. -- [HARDY] xserver-xorg does not auto-configure correctly https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/207409 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 62442] Re: Can't open downloaded files
I got the same problem on my Kubuntu gutsy. Besides what was described above. Also the default download folder can't open by click it. I don't know any reason for this. It used to be no problem in Ubuntu 7.04. I installed Kubuntu cleanly, not by upgrade, and use the old .mozilla folder that I backup. [Bug 62442] Re: Can't open downloaded files
I guess it has nothing to do with add-ons. I created a new profile using firefox -ProfileManager. The same problem remains. I tried running firefox from console. When click the open link or download folder or context menu to open/ open folder, no output on the console. -- Can't open downloaded files https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/62442 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 66104] Re: [Gutsy] scim: input freezes in various applications under XIM mode
This has been very annoying. I can confirm this on gusty. It has not been fixed in official updates yet. I have no deadkey and the second work around fix the problem. -- [Gutsy] scim: input freezes in various applications under XIM mode https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/66104 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
