Hi Alex,

I'm using imap-2001a-10 on a Red Hat 7.3 box, with php-4.1.2. The information
(rpm -qi) says that it's a fork from University of Washington's imap .

Is that the same thing as uw-imap ?
Is there a place from Squirrellmail website to download those patches?

Regards,
Josep

[SM-USERS] Can't change folders

2003-08-11 Thread Prentice Bisbal
First the specifics of the server
Red Hat Linux release 7.3 (Valhalla)
imap-2001a-10 (uw)
apache-1.3.27-2
php-4.1.2-7
squirrelmail-1.4.1
I just installed squirrelmail 1.4.1, and it seems to be working
correctly, I can send mail with attachments, etc. There's only one
problem. When I'm reading my mail, I can't switch to any other folders.
I can only see my Inbox. When I click on "Sent" or "Trash," The page
reloads, but it's still the same page I was looking at before I clicked
on the link.

This is w/o adding the following lines from the INSTALL document to my
httpd.conf file

AddType application/php4script .php
Action application/php4script /cgi-bin/php
When I add these lines to httpd.conf, I get the following error in my
web browser when I try to view ANY squirrelmail page page:

Any ideas? Please help - I need to have this up and running by the end

Thanks,

I'm running Qmail 1.03 with Vpopmail 5.2.1 and Courier IMAP 1.4.5 and
SquirrelMail 1.4.1 just fine. I installed Qmail since I couldn't figure out
sendmail. :)

Peace...

Tom

You PROBABLY want it listening to localhost and maybe even your LAN as
well. It all depends on your setup and how you're going to use it. I have
postfix listening to all interfaces, but that's because I need to get at
it from everywhere.

[SM-USERS] Patch updates fro SM 1.4.1

2003-08-11 Thread Ross Williamson
Hey all,

I dont know whether this is done at all but... are there patches to take
1.4.0 to 1.4.1? Rather than just unpacking the new tarball over the old
one (of course following the instructinos in the UPGRADE file)

Cheers
Ross
