[Elisa] [Bug 473545] New: Some bugs and inadequacies (Linux version)
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=473545 Bug ID: 473545 Summary: Some bugs and inadequacies (Linux version) Classification: Applications Product: Elisa Version: 20.12.3 Platform: Debian stable OS: Linux Status: REPORTED Severity: normal Priority: NOR Component: general Assignee: matthieu_gall...@yahoo.fr Reporter: radb...@gmail.com Target Milestone: --- Preliminary: I've been trying for a while to recreate all the programs/functions of my previous "main computer" a Mac Mini, in Linux. As far as managing and playing music is concerned, so far "Elisa" is the best approximation to iTunes/Apple Music i could find. Therefore many thanks to the developers! However, I have found some bugs/inadequacies: 1. in my music folder there are subfolders that I do NOT want to play with Elisa (audio books). In this respect, it should also be possible not only to add new paths, but also to remove / exclude paths. 2. if I "re-read" the music collection, then NOTHING is visible at first, neither albums nor artists etc.. Only after quitting and restarting Elisa, the newly read in music collection is available again. 3. if I click on "Genre" on the left, all matching artists are displayed in the main window. This is not factually correct: Artists cannot be clearly assigned to a genre, but albums can. So the albums matching the genre (with cover) should be displayed in the main window. I use "Elisa" under MX-Linux 21.3 on an Intel NUC12 (64 bit). Best regards Clemens -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.

https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=437818 --- Comment #4 from Clemens Eisserer --- what I find interesting - most of the time, those bugs are catched by the system-wide bug reporting utility (ABRT), only on rare occuasions the kde bug reporter is able to catch a crash. This seems to be a sad thing, because the bugs filed at redHat usually are not noticed by anybody and every 6 months I get about 20 emails regarding bugs that will be auto-closed because their reported release is approacing EOL. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.

https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=390858 --- Comment #21 from Clemens Eisserer --- There are use-cases where disabling the compositor makes actually sense - like running inside VirtualBox on a 4k monitor setup. https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=373232 --- Comment #71 from Clemens Eisserer --- > There is no need to state it multiple times. > If the issue gets fixed, the bug gets closed. I guess the reason why there are so many "me too"s is that there is nothing done about it and the bug was filed exactly two years ago. This is rather basic functionality broken in a (these days) rather common environment. I could now go on and complain about bugs in core-functionality, while developer time is spent on KDE-branded applications just for the sake of having a QT-clone available, but I guess it would do no good. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.

Hi, I am using the latest Umbrello version 2.22.0 on Archlinux. I'm trying to generate an UML class from PHP code (PHP5 compatible) but it fails with various errors in the log complaining about the code syntax. The only thing I will get is a "file"-entity in the components view but there should be a "class"-entity in the logical view I think. Generating UML classes from java source works as expected. [umbrello] [Bug 379187] PHP class generation from code fails
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=379187 --- Comment #2 from Clemens John --- Hi Ralph, thanks for your reply. You are right the file https://bugs.kde.org/attachment.cgi?id=105183 was not generated using Umbrello. It was created manually by me. Maybe there is a misunderstanding so I'll try to clarify what I'm trying to do to make shure we are talking about the same topic. I'm trying to reverse engineer php files containing php classes manually created by me to automatically have them available as UML classes in Umbrello. In most cases there will be imports (use statements) of classes which are not directly available to Umbrello but reverse engineering should work nevertheless. During my research I found the Pear PHP_UML package [1] which generates an *.xmi file I can open using Umbrello using the following command: phpuml ./packages/timetracker/base/src/Models/Hour.php -o ./test.xmi This works quite well as a workaround and I think this is what the "Code Importing Wizard" should do out of the box if PHP is selected as language.
