[Breeze] [Bug 432135] Window decorations faster unfocused when unfocused a window
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=432135 --- Comment #7 from Michael D --- It sort of works. I saved a copy of Breeze Light and changed the normal/alternate header colors which at first worked. Then with some fiddling of colors, unfocused windows started showing the original Breeze Light alternate header color that nowhere to be found in the GUI and was not what I had set. (I also changed window alternate.) Then it stopped showing the titlebar color I had set and was instead using the window background color. I suppose I should file a separate report about this. Question: My current color scheme has a different color set for normal/alternate header, but it seems not to do anything. Is there something special about Breeze Light that's not exposed in the GUI? -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.

[digikam] [Bug 433822] DigiKam doesn't read extended (xattr) attributes
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=433822 --- Comment #4 from tagwer...@innerjoin.org --- Thank you for the replies... > ... Baloo has brought us many bug reports with crashes > over the years ... I don't think I was using it in the bad years. Now, from my perspective, I think "hat's off". It's an incredibly messy and challenging project. My feeling here is that digiKam is reading/writing xattr on the filesystem, the data you can see with "getfattr -d". Baloo reads this data, digiKam can read and write this data. For this bit of the work it _seems_ the two are independent. > ... you can switch off reading of the rating tags in the > advanced metadata settings ... It could be that I've written changes done within digiKam back into the embedded metadata, and digiKam is reading this info in preference to (modified) extended attributes. I will check. I am happy to carry on troubleshooting As an initial suggestion. If people see: Read metadata from Baloo there'll be an expectation that digiKam will try to read the info. Could there be an option in the advanced settings, to show xattr as a source - and list things like user.baloo.rating, user.xdg.tags etc explicitly, although by default unchecked, at the bottom of the list? Further on perhaps, if "Read metadata from Baloo" is selected, these options could be checked -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.

After initiating the sending from the Android device, a receiving notification popped up, but was stuck at file 1 (even though it was only ~300KB). Seeing as that wasn't working, I right clicked the KDE Connect notification and chose "Browse this device" (which BTW should be a prominent option in the app, but it's absent). Then I was able to browse the DCIM/Camera directory and started copying files that way. At that point I clicked the stop icon in the receiving notification, since it wasn't working anyway. We should also take alignment into consideration. In practice, this is largely a theoretical issue as GCC libstdc++ and LLVM libc++ the delete operators are simply implemented in in terms of the plain delete. [Breeze] [Bug 433126] Inactive title bar elements in Breeze Light have the same color as active title bar elements
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=433126 Vladislav Rubtsov changed: What|Removed |Added CC||rubs...@gmail.com --- Comment #5 from Vladislav Rubtsov --- The bug is most likely related to the color blending effects, which cannot be edited by KColorSchemeEditor at this point. By closely inspecting color theme files, I found out that "Breeze Light" now uses the following settings not found in certain other themes: [WM] activeBlend=227,229,231 inactiveBlend=239,240,241 This is most likely responsible for incorrect coloring of the active title bar, when user changes the color to non-default one. I've been trying to manually edit Breeze Light color scheme, by saving a copy of it then altering its file in '~/.kde/share/apps/color-schemes/', but to no avail. It looks like KDE stores user-defined settings elsewhere and this is just a dump/cache of it. Any insight of how to properly edit KDE system settings by hand would be highly appreciated. It bugs me how KDE internals are not documented at all, nor they are easy to work with, since something as simple as manually editing one line of a color theme has no apparent workaround. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
