In order to come to know ShowFoto I played with it. So I also opened a *.jpg (with Exif metadata) image and stored it as *.jp2. Now Exiftool cannot read the Exif metadata written by ShowFoto. It reports : Unrecognized UUID EXIF box. Also XnViewMP - which uses an Adobe toolkit for metadata - does not read the metadata of *.jp2 file. I asked Phil Harvey, the developer of Exifttol, and he stated: "Digikam has apparently written a JPEG EXIF header in front of the TIFF header (six extra bytes: "Exif\0\0"), so ExifTool gives the warning and can't process the EXIF. >From interoperability point of view this is a very bad situation. Because Exiftool and XnViewXP write a "common format" of the uuid tag, I guess the problem could be on digiKam side. Please help to solve the major interoperability problem. I find it rather difficult to tell the state of a window just by looking at its task manager button. Consider the following visual representations: * a hovered button has a blue background color and a glowing icon, * the button of the active window has a blue background color, * the buttons of non-minimized windows have a light gray background color, * the buttons of minimized windows have a dark gray background color. I have the following problems: * A hovered button always has the same visual representation, disregarding the state of the window completely. This implies, that the visual representation does not change after clicking the button, while the actual state of the window does change. I often click task bar buttons repeatedly, because I do not see a change of the button and the related window is in another corner of another monitor and therefore out of my field of view. * It is not intuitively clear to me, that a dark gray button represents a minimized window. Especially, if there is exactly one minimized window and no active window. Reproducible: Always Expected Results: The state of a window should always be intuitively represented by the task manager button, especially while hovering a button. I suggest, to indicate hovering only by glowing (maybe including the text). In this way, the state of the window stays visible. I installed correct Nvidia driver 367.44 and it work fine. But i have a problem with composer Kwin. If composer effects at boot is active (in setup menu) the dialog windows get locked to the desktop even if i exit from these, and then these dialog windows can't longer be move or delete from desktop. I attach a snapshot of my desktop in which you can see 3 programs dropped in bar menu and the other dialog windows locked on the desktop. https://postimg.org/image/kia5y9zpf/ This only happens with dialog windows and no with programs windows. If i change some options on video setup (for exemple from opengl 2 to opengl 3.1) the dialog windows disappear, but if another get opened it remain locked again. If I disable composer effects and reboot pc all work fine, and dialog windows don't get locked to the desktop. I think it is a kwin problem, then i reemerge kwin but without results. They all appear as separate calendars in a collection in the tree view. KOrganizer often de-selects my calendars for some reason, so I have to click on them to re-select them to see the events. One time I clicked and accidentally dragged slightly, and the calendar I tried to click on was copied into another calendar and appeared as a sub-calendar. The calendar now appeared twice in the calendar view. I right-clicked on the duplicate calendar, and the only option available to remove it was "Delete Calendar Folder". It asked me if I wanted to delete it, and I clicked yes. The original calendar still remained in the tree view, but the actual calendar, containing thousands of events, had been DELETED FROM THE SERVER (which is running Davical). After re-fetching the list of calendars in the underlying calendar collection, the calendar had indeed been deleted, and no longer appeared in the tree view. The problem is the unintuitive behaviour. If you accidentally duplicate your calendar, how do you get rid of the duplicate? The first problem is that you can make a calendar a sub-calendar, which in reality isn't reflected in the calendar structure on the server. Secondly, the only option to remove a duplicated calendar is "Delete Calendar Folder" Thirdly that, despite asking you if you want to do this, it's not clear that this deletion will be propagated to the server. The way to get the calendar tree back to normal is not to do any manipulation of the tree using the GUI, but to re-fetch the list of calendars in the collection using the calendar server settings in the configuration menu. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. click and drag on a calendar in your collection to another calendar in the collection 2. select copy Actual Results: You're left with a duplicate calendar that when you remove it in what seems like an intuitive way, you irreversibly delete the calendar from the server. Expected Results: You're left with a duplicate calendar that when you try to remove it, simply disappears and leaves the other calendar in place. Fix Bug 285162: adjust documentation view font settings by values taken from
system settings (DE)
Summary:
The patch sets Sans Serif font as default for documentation view.
Font settings are adjusted to system setting (DE):
* Sans Serif font (we assume that is the default system font).
* Monospace font.
* Sizes for all fonts.
Only Serif font family setting is taken from fontconfig (system settings for
such font is missing).
Test Plan:
Tested with master branch.
