Bug#641589: (no subject)
Hi, I have found that after I removed the package mozilla-libreoffice, konqueror is no more starting libreoffice when browsing web pages. Of course this is not a proper solution, but I thought it could be interesting to know for those annoyed by this bug, and can maybe point towards the origin of the problem. BUG: random crashes with complex QML apps on Ubuntu 11.10 and Debian Wheezy
I have to add "QMAKE_CFLAGS = -m64 -fno-strict-aliasing" to the mkspecs/linux-g++-64/qmake.conf and rebuild Qt. Thereafter it runs much more stable. The problem is reported by many people on the official Qt bugtracker. I know its a workaround for legacy code, but I really like to see my QML apps run with default Qt libraries. Best wishes, Frank Mertens. -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-qt-kde-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe". Trouble? Bug#647207: kget ignores bandwidth limits
Package: kget Version: 4:4.6.5-3 Severity: important Dear Maintainer, I notice kget ignores bandwidth limits settings. I tried to restart the program, but it has no effect. Bug#639845: pixel garbage when opening context menus in KDE or Qt applications
Hello, This bug disappears but I don't no why. Maybe the upgrade to Mesa 7.11? Maybe the upgrade to KDE 4.6.5-3? Bug#647251: plasma-desktop: Problem in switching between multiple monitors to a single monitor
Package: plasma-desktop Version: 4:4.6.5-3 Severity: normal Dear Maintainer, I have this problem for some months now. In my office I use an external monitor that I plug in my laptop, but at house I just use my laptop's screen. After configuring my laptop to work with the external monitor as the primary output, everything runs well. If I 'll try to reconfigure the "display and monitor settings" in order to use only my laptop's screen, again everything is ok. But now if I restart my laptop without the external monitor plugged in and I start opening some applications, I can't see their windows on the screen. Even though they are running and I can see them in the task manager of the panel. If I kill the plasma-desktop then the windows will be appeared. The only way to "fix" this problem is to delete the ~/.kde folder with all my kde configurations and restart my laptop.
