Mint's main edition, Linux Mint 11 Katya, just released, is based on
Ubuntu packages, without Unity and with Gnome.

The other versions use Debian:
* LMDE (Linux Mint Debian Edition, rolling distribution based on Debian Testing)
* Linux Mint Xfce Edition (LMDE - Gnome + Xfce)
