Hmmm... your idea of having gamelist context menus to duplicate switcher functionality seems reasonable, but just makes me more certain that the switcher belongs in the gamelist widget. The visual switcher does the job too well to be replaced, and the gamelist widget is often used with database management (ie filtering games , then copying filtered games). Pressing Control-D twice every time you want to use it is ok i guess.. but for simplicity's sakes, imho hardcoding it into the gamelist is the best idea.
