Hi,

Might be too obvious to mention, but you did not explicitly state that this (http://scid.sourceforge.net/latex.html) did not work for you - and why...

Cheers,

Hi everyone,

I'm making a switch to Fedora and am experimenting with a virtual machine before I make the plunge when Fedora 13 comes out. Scid works fine (as far as I can see), which is great, but I can't find an RPM for the chess12 font, meaning the tex files for such as the opening reports are rendered completely useless. Does anyone have any experience in getting chess12 and the Scid LaTeX stuff to work? In Ubuntu it's just a case of the package manager and the tex-games (or whatever) package..

I know this is a LaTeX issue, not Scid, but I was hoping someone on the mailiing list is using Fedora as well and knows how to set the chess12 font up. This *is* kind of a Scid issue, in that I only want chess12 for the sake of using Scid to it's full potential. The opening reports are a vital feature for me.

I did a Google, couldn't find anything, and on the Scid page there's a link to a collection of RPMs on an external site, which don't work. They just appear to be for a chess game, not a font, so it seem's theres an issue with the site's link. There is also a tarball on the same Scid web page which I can't run make on... so that's perhaps an issue with the site as well?

If no-one can help, then that's cool, I'll do some more digging.

Cheers,

Dale
