F2 is bound to the first engine listed in the Tools->Analysis_Engines widget. F3 to the second. The problem is the engine ordering (and hence F2 and F3 bindings) are changed nearly every time an engine is run, or this widget examined. > I get a feeling that this mess is caused by the > toga+polyglot combination. I dont think so... I spent ages re-writing the ^%$^#&! relevant code for my project ( http://scidvspc.sourceforge.net ) so that the F2 and F3 hot-keys are explicitly define-able. You'll find the patch "2_analysis_rewrite1" in this download http://sourceforge.net/projects/scidvspc/files/scidvspc/patches/scid_vs_pc-3.6.26.5.patches.tgz/download but porting it to Scid may not be trivial. Another patch that may be more useful is a fix for Phalanx's occasional illegal castling. File is "1_phalanx_castling_fix" in tarball http://sourceforge.net/projects/scidvspc/files/scidvspc/patches/scid_vs_pc-3.6.26.6.patches.tgz/download Steve __________________________________________________________________________________ Find local businesses and services in your area with Yahoo!7 Local.
