Follow-up Comment #3:
The Web UI adds the data to the emails it sends to _individual Savannah users_
(in particular, the data contain ID of each user); when it sends to an address
rather than to a user, no user ID is defined.
When a user submits a new item on a tracker, Savannah sends a notification to
the submitter and to the CC list it takes from group's preferences (in case of
GNU roff,
https://savannah.gnu.org/project/admin/editgroupnotifications.php?group=groff).
Currently, that list is bug-groff@ for bugs and empty for other trackers. In
order to get emails with personalized data on new submissions, you can add
gbranden to the list (separated with a comma).
