I see the process running in the task manager. I can at least get a listing of the processes now. Unfortunately, it says the process I'd like to monitor is down however, when I look at the task manager I see the process. From: Servers Alive Discussion List [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of Daniel W. Fulton Sent: Tuesday, September 28, 2010 5:01 PM To: Servers Alive Discussion List Subject: [SA-list] Remote Agent processes error Hi, I'm testing out the remot agent's processes monitor. I can get a list of services from the remote agent but, when I try to get a list of processes to monitor I always get the same error: ERROR: Could not get the running processes! Error Code 0x800007D0. Unable to connect to the specified computer or the computer is offline. This is strange because I can get a list of the services on the computer that has the remote agent installed. The two computers are on the same subnet behind a firewall, virtually right next to each other. There isn't a hardware firewall in the way. One is a server running SBS 2008 and the other a PC running Windows 7. I think I've gotten the software firewalls setup correctly. Is there something I need to add into the Remote Agent config?
