Not that I've looked at it in, oh, say a year. :) It's a very subtle visual difference (and may not look different all depending on your font). It really only bites people if they're trying to search for a switch, since "-e" won't match "<hyphen>e", which doesn't apply to rssh, or if they're trying to cut and paste. But it also tells *roff that it's an okay place for breaking the word, which it isn't.
