I agree. Tried that (actually deleted the whole thing and started it from scratch) but it didn't work. If I login as myself it works fine (hence the $HOME/.mozilla suspission). Is a puzzlement.
This morning I am going to go to the mozilla site and get the latest stable release and see if that fixes it. Otherwise I may try a different browser or just do my downloads as myself. But this is inconvenient as this is my server machine and I only download to do maintenance.
