I think it happens when using computers becomes about using computers rather than the people you're communicating with, the games you play, or the work you do. Administration, in particular is almost all assembling solutions for other people, and never using the products you used to enjoy so much. I don't know exactly, but I've been posting a lot less since I noticed that my posts were increasingly cynical and decreasingly helpful.
